Lasting Impressions of World War I.  This program airs four times over the weekend; it’s a joint press conference co-hosted by the National World War I Museum and Memorial and the National Press Club.  First airing is at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, with a repeat at 10:00 p.m. that evening.  Third airing is at 4:01 p.m. Sunday, April 22.  The last airing is in the wee hours of Monday morning, April 23, at 2:01 p.m.

American Artifacts:  World War I Combat Artists.  This is a look at an exhibit now at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington.  It airs at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22.

Blair Tarr is the Museum Curator of the Kansas State Historical Society. He oversees the three-dimensional collections of the Society, but has special interests in the Civil War, Wichita-made Valentine diners, and Leavenworth's Abernathy Furniture. In the last few years he has also done a lot of cramming on The Great War. He is a past president of the Kansas Museums Association and the Civil War Round Tables of both Kansas City and Eastern Kansas. He is currently a board member of the Heritage League of Greater Kansas City.
