Peace Efforts Before U.S. Entered WWI.  This first aired last weekend, and includes Jennifer Keene and Jay Sexton discussing events leading up to the U.S. entry into WWI.  Airs Saturday morning at 9:25 a.m.

American Soldiers’ Views of Europeans, 1917-18.  Richard Faulkner from the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College discusses what the doughboys thought about the Europeans they encountered.  Airs Sunday evening at 8:05 p.m. and repeats at what is actually Monday morning at 12:05 a.m.

Blair Tarr is the Museum Curator of the Kansas State Historical Society. He oversees the three-dimensional collections of the Society, but has special interests in the Civil War, Wichita-made Valentine diners, and Leavenworth's Abernathy Furniture. In the last few years he has also done a lot of cramming on The Great War. He is a past president of the Kansas Museums Association and the Civil War Round Tables of both Kansas City and Eastern Kansas. He is currently a board member of the Heritage League of Greater Kansas City.
