Not a lot of World War I programming scheduled on the C-SPAN networks this weekend–just two shows that have aired previously.  The usual reminders:  all times Central, not responsible for schedule changes, and apologies if we miss anything.  All shows available of the C-SPAN website once they air.

American Artifacts World War I repeats with the Curator of Education of the National World War I Museum and Memorial, Lora Vogt, discussing the uniforms and gas masks in the museum’s collections.  It airs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, and repeats at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

World War I Posters follows the previous program, with the Senior Curator of the National World War I Museum and Memorial, Doran Cart, discussing the museum’s poster collection.  It airs at 9:12 a.m. on January 13 and repeats at 6:42 p.m.

Blair Tarr is the Museum Curator of the Kansas State Historical Society. He oversees the three-dimensional collections of the Society, but has special interests in the Civil War, Wichita-made Valentine diners, and Leavenworth's Abernathy Furniture. In the last few years he has also done a lot of cramming on The Great War. He is a past president of the Kansas Museums Association and the Civil War Round Tables of both Kansas City and Eastern Kansas. He is currently a board member of the Heritage League of Greater Kansas City.
