Exhibition: Conversation XVIII: World War I

This installation of works from the permanent collection features a selection from the SMA’s deep holdings of graphic arts made during the First World War. The exhibition will serve as a backdrop for course offerings and other events commemorating the centennial of World War I. The exhibition includes video clips depicting film footage from the First World War. Curator: Stephen Goddard.

The University of Kansas Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies (CREES) has been a national leader for the study of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe since 1959. The center is an active member of the KU WWI Centennial Commemoration coordinated by the European Studies Program.
