We’ve been made aware of this presentation by Topeka actor David Tangeman, who has written a one-man show, The Ghost Soldier.  The debut of his play will be at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library on Monday, November 6.

See David Tangeman, a local actor, perform his original one-man play commemorating the centennial of U.S. involvement in WWI. The Ghost Soldier tells the story of an American soldier fighting his way through the hardships and horrors of the War to End All Wars.  All ages.

Blair Tarr is the Museum Curator of the Kansas State Historical Society. He oversees the three-dimensional collections of the Society, but has special interests in the Civil War, Wichita-made Valentine diners, and Leavenworth's Abernathy Furniture. In the last few years he has also done a lot of cramming on The Great War. He is a past president of the Kansas Museums Association and the Civil War Round Tables of both Kansas City and Eastern Kansas. He is currently a board member of the Heritage League of Greater Kansas City.
